Well, I hate to say I told you so…I take that back…. I’m
glad to say I told you so this time around. What a wonderful ending to a great
season by our football program. The determination and passion that our team
displayed on that field was phenomenal! If you look at my post at the beginning
of the season, you will see that we predicted a National Championship this
year. After the loss to LSU on Nov. 5 we would need a miracle for us to make it
back to the title game. When Boise State loss the following week I knew that
things were beginning to take shape.
This season was unbelievable and I am proud of all the
people that contributed to this championship run. #14 has lifted a town
devastated by the storms that passed through Tuscaloosa on 4/27/11. I’m getting
emotional so I’ll just end it here and say “Roll Damn Tide!!!!”
